I’m Keeley and I qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1995 and have spent the whole of my working life in practice dealing with owner managed businesses.
I am married to the long suffering Charlie, and we are lucky to have 3 children – Hannah (1993), David (1999) and Jess (2004). I am also now a proud Nanny to two granddaughters.
I joined Marian and her team in September 2010 to expand her book-keeping business so that we would be able to offer accounting, tax and consultancy services to her existing clients if they wanted them and to build the client base. The original team of 3 is now 7 and I feel very lucky to be working with such amazing people.
I have a number of interests which include theatre visits, anything to do with Disney (inherited from Mum), and stress busting in the garden. I also enjoy a good bottle of red wine accompanied by a large bar of Dairy Milk.
I was brought up in Essex, surrounded by music of all types due to my parent’s owning a record shop, and I have a particular passion for 80’s music.
My claim to fame is that I was pushed on a swing when very young by Pete Townsend of The Who in Old Deer Park, London.
My varied work experience has given me the ability to advise on all financial aspects of accounting and tax, and I am also qualified in the Diploma in Financial Planning which allows me to understand client’s pension, investments and insurance matters too.
Our aim at Magenta is to have “Fun with figures” and to provide quality personal services in a fun and friendly manner.
I am the Voluntary Treasurer of Knightwood Youth Club which has become a great success in the Chandlers Ford area for young people aged 13-17. This has involved raising funds and grant applications to ensure the ongoing success of the club.
